What gives me the biggest buzz when I’m working with start-ups and scale-ups? It’s when the needle starts to move. It’s the results. Ultimately, nobody wants a strategy, they want results.
Knowing the direction to head in, the right questions to ask and discovering what the real problem is are the things that lead to those outcomes. And then it’s all about the next leads, the next problem to address and how to keep growing your pipeline.
Execute and deliver momentum
I’ve worked with a wide range of businesses, working in agencies, in-house and running Why Digital. I’ve worked with corporates and fast-growing e-commerce businesses, as well as start-ups and scale-ups. The key is always to drill down to the right formula for the individual company. I don’t bring a blueprint or a pre-determined plan. I bring experience, the ability to explore and evaluate, and the desire to execute, learn and adapt. Then, we have some momentum, to amplify and scale, often handing over to a steady-stage team.
